The Bangladesh Peace Party felicitated the countrymen on the occasion of the great language movement and International Mother Language Day on February 21, 1952, and paid deep respect to all the martyrs of the language movement.
In a statement, the party chairman, the future statesman of Bangladesh, Adv. Syed Abdullah Shahid, said that since the independence of Bangladesh, all the injustices including the unlimited corruption, misrule, oppression, torture, bribery, extortion, money laundering abroad, disappearances, murder, assassination, drug aggression, destruction of democracy, politics and voting system have been resisted in the country for the past 53 years. He called on the student masses to unite again like the Language Movement of 1952, the Liberation War of 1971 and the revolution to re-establish independence on August 5, 2024, to achieve and establish the benefits of all past struggles by introducing sound politics, democracy and voting system and establishing the rule of law, i.e. good governance, justice, truth and peace in the country.
