Khulna District BNP convener Moniruzzaman Montu said that everyone must forget their differences and work together to ensure the victory of the candidate with the paddy sheaf symbol by winning the hearts of the people by doing good deeds.
BNP is an ideological political party that believes in religious values. A party where people of all religions and the people of the country are safe. He said, to reflect the trust and aspirations of the people towards BNP, there is no alternative to a well-organized party and discipline within the party.
He said, fascism has fallen through the mass uprising on August 5. Awami League has fled. But their allies remain at different levels of society. The Awami League must be uprooted by expelling them from society. He said to the party leaders and activists, if they do not correct themselves, strict organizational measures must be taken against them.
He announced the dissolution of the Paikgachha Upazila and Municipality BNP committees and the formation of a conference preparation committee. At that time, he said, all BNP committees will be formed through elections. Stating that dedicated, tested, skilled and socially acceptable leaders and activists will be given importance in the committee, he gave instructions to make a clean list. At that time, he said, if anyone names autocratic friends in the committee, strict action will be taken against him.
He warned everyone that there will be no sign of evil forces in the BNP committee. He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at the BNP workers' meeting organized by the Upazila and Municipality BNP at the Paikgachha Press Club auditorium on Wednesday afternoon. The meeting, chaired by Upazila BNP President Dr. Md. Abdul Majid, was attended by special guests, including District BNP Senior Joint Convener Adv. Momrezul Islam, District BNP Leader Khan Zulfikar Ali Zulu, Mollah Khairul Islam, Enamul Haque Swajal, Zafarin Newaz Chandan, Anwar Hossain Ano, Adv. GM Abdus Sattar, Shahadat Hossain Dablu.
The rally, moderated by Municipal BNP Convener Selim Reza Lucky and Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Abul Hossain, was addressed and attended by Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Aslam Parvez, Acting General Secretary Tushar Kanti Mondal, Municipal Member Secretary Mostafa Morol, Imamul Islam, Tofazzel Sardar, Abu Saleh Iqbal, Master Babar Ali Goldar, Asaduzzaman Moyna, former councilor SM Imdadul Haque, Kamal Ahmed Selim Newaz, Imran Hossain, Adv. Saifuddin Sumon, Mecher Ali Sana, Kazi Sajjad Ahmed Manik, Touhiduzzaman Mukul, Laxmi Rani Goldar, Sheikh Benazir Ahmed, Yagnesh^r Sana Kartik, Nazir Ahmed, Kazi Saiful Islam Tariq, Sardar Faruk Ahmed, Abu Musa, Sujayet Ali, Leaders at various levels of BNP and allied organizations, including Yunus Mollah and Krishna Banerjee.
At the end of the rally, special prayers were offered for the health and long life of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman and District BNP Member Secretary Abu Hossain Babu. The prayer program was conducted by Upazila Ulama Dal General Secretary Maoist Abul Kalam Azad.
