An accusation has been made against a person named Anisur Rahman Pradhan (55) for spreading false information on social media Facebook to defame Panchagarh. The statement was issued by the statement maker, Rajiul Islam Pradhan, expressing strong hatred, condemnation and protest against the person involved for defaming the complainant. At the same time, the statement stated that the information was disseminated for objective and self-interest.
Accused Anisur Rahman Prodhan is the son of the deceased Khamir Uddin Prodhan of Chaklahat Union in Sadar Upazila. He currently lives in Islambagh area of Panchagarh Municipality. In a statement, Raziul Karim Prodhan also said that my younger brother Anisur Rahman Prodhan spread some information on social media on Facebook based on a High Court case verdict on January 20.
In the mentioned account, I was humiliated as a land grabber, money-grubber and terrorist. However, he did not find any such reason with the case verdict. Since the main plaintiff in the case is my younger mother, Mosha. Altafun Nesha, decided to settle the case completely to keep the family relationship intact. In view of which, Rajiul did not lobby for the case. Rajiul appealed to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court for justice against the verdict in the High Court. He sought a stay order of the verdict in the court. Later, the court granted a stay order. The case is mainly land-related and family-related. The late father of Rajiul Islam and Anisur Rahman Pradhan, father of Khamir Uddin Pradhan, owns a total of 20 acres of 50 percent land in 13 plots under Khatian No. 468 of Mouza Boguladangi, Chaklahat Union. During his lifetime, he left me the possession of the land through an unregistered Hebabil Awaz 50 years before the present. Later, in 1985, he registered a Hebabil Awaz document while leaving.
In 2009, the younger mother filed a false case in the Panchagarh Judge Court through her elder son Anisur Rahman Pradhan. The subject of which was that the land was in their possession but I evicted the younger mother from the land by renting it to people. Which is completely fabricated, false and baseless. Because I have been occupying that land for 35 years while my father was alive. Where my house, room and local holding number are all present. However, my younger mother has identified my house as her address which is false. She identifies my father's house as Birpara village. However, my village is known as Bairagi Para. I never even knew that there was any document of those lands in their name. Even though they did not inform me or take any legal action for 35 years.
After 35 years, when I filed a case, the court did not declare the case time-barred and gave a verdict in his favor in collusion. In view of which I filed an appeal in the High Court against the verdict. However, the court did not do justice and gave a verdict in view of the verdict of the lower court. Currently, I have filed an appeal case in the Supreme Court for justice and got permission to stay the High Court's verdict. The disputed land is currently registered with the government's registry number 8 and has been in my possession for the last 50 years. My necessary documents are the Hebabil Ewaz of my father in 1969, through which there were two Khariz Khatians in the names of our two brothers. Which I have paid the rent for a long time, 35 years. When my father died, one Hebabil Ewaz document was registered in the names of our two brothers.
In 1972, a return was submitted in my name under the Government Land Conservation Act. However, the opponent has not submitted any return of the land despite having the documents. I have been occupying the land for 50 years now. However, the opponent has no conditions other than the documents on paper. The information that Anis Pradhan has published against me is objective and for self-interest. I express strong hatred, condemnation and protest against it. I also request that necessary action be taken against him.
