A refresher training workshop for professional drivers was held in Moulvibazar with the theme "Safe Roads for Everyone."
The workshop was organized at the Syed Shah Mustafa College Conference Room on Sunday (February 16) morning under the initiative of the district administration and BRTA.
The training covered various important topics including traffic laws, road safety, causes and remedies for accidents, traffic signs and signals, precautions for driving in fog, and physical and mental health of drivers. Leaflets and brochures were also distributed among the participants.
The workshop was chaired by Additional District Magistrate Tanvir Hossain and chaired by BRTA Director Md. Habibur Rahman.
Also present were; Syed Shah Mustafa College retired principal Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Assistant Director Selim Uddin, Traffic Inspector Kamrul Hasan, journalist Md. Mahbubur Rahman Rahel and Civil Surgeon Representative Dr. Murad Alam.
Incidentally, such training is held once a month, where there is also a stipend and food for the participating drivers.
