Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has urged the district administrators to work independently. He said, "During this government's tenure, there is no need to do any work due to bloodlust or threats. Don't listen to anyone's threats."
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said these things at the opening ceremony of the 3-day DC conference at the Shapla Hall of the Office of the Chief Adviser on Sunday (February 16).
The chief advisor said, "We have to do whatever is necessary for the country, whatever is the law, whatever is necessary for the country." He instructed the district administrators to be vigilant to maintain the law and order situation in the country. At the same time, he instructed to take necessary measures at the field level to control the market prices of essential commodities.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, we have made laws, but it has not reached the villages. Yet we are sitting here with a decision. This distance should not exist. People are being harassed for no reason. Harassment is like our religion. The government means harassing people, it must be turned upside down. The government is a different thing. Our job is to deliver your rights.
