Abdul Aziz Foundation has taken responsibility for the extremely poor and meritorious students of two educational institutions in Ujirpur Upazila and Gournadi Upazila of Barisal district. At the same time, this organization provides medical services to the poor in Kholna, Hastishund, Mora Kathi, and Bamrail villages of Ujirpur Upazila.
Abdul Aziz Foundation was established in the Khulna Noorani Madrasa area in 2021 at the initiative of members of the family of prominent social worker Abdul Aziz. The organization is a non-political and social service voluntary organization.
The motto of this organization is medical and educational activities. In continuation of that, the Abdul Aziz Foundation has already borne the entire education expenses of 37 extremely poor and meritorious students of Hastishund Morakathi Secondary School and Batajor Ashwini Kumar Secondary School. Abdul Aziz Foundation General Secretary Md. Saiful Huda Firoz said, there are 26 members of our family in the organization, and the education and medical expenses are met entirely with their own funds. And land has been endowed in the name of the organization. I hope that the organization will be run in a lineage-based manner. In the future, our service activities will be carried out in various educational institutions and villages of the upazila. Abdul Aziz Foundation Organizing Secretary Md. Masum Billah Ripon said that the organization is only engaged in the service of humanity, and in the future, we want to conduct upazila-based activities.
Dr. Abu Bakkar Akon, the foundation's chief advisor, said that if every wealthy family comes forward like this, the picture of society will change.
