Outsourcing employees working in various upazila health complexes in Barisal have formed human chains and protest marches to receive their arrears of salary and allowances.
On Saturday, 15/2/2025, around 11 am, outsourced employees employed in the Upazila Health Complexes of Barisal district held a protest march and human chain program in front of the city's Ashwini Kumar Town Hall demanding due salary and allowances.
Dr. Manisha Chakraborty, Barisal District Member Secretary of Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (BSD), spoke at the human chain program presented by Jabed Hossain.
The outsourcing employees of the Upazila Health Complex who participated in the human chain said that they were employed by Gulf Security Service Limited and are working in various positions. But they have been providing services without salary and allowances for the past 16 months. As a result, their families, including their wives and children, are living inhumane lives. Therefore, they demand immediate payment of all outstanding salary and allowances.
64 employees recruited through outsourcing in health complexes in various upazilas of Barisal district participated in the human chain.
