Members of various camps under the 58th BGB Battalion in Maheshpur, Jhenaidah, conducted a raid and seized 62 bottles
Indian liquor, 44 bottles of Phensedyl and 500 packets of Tapentadol tablets were seized.
Maheshpur 58 BGB sources said that members of the Srinathpur BGB camp in Maheshpur on Thursday night
During the raid, 40 bottles of Indian liquor were recovered from inside the mahogany garden of Rahim Mia in Srinathpur village.
At the same time, members of the BGB camp at Yalaighat recovered 22 bottles of Indian liquor from the Yalaighat border area.
On the same night, members of the Kusumpur BGB camp conducted a raid and found a wheat field in Chapatla village.
They recovered 500 bottles of Indian Tapentadol tablets from the side. At the same time, members of the Jadavpur BGB camp conducted a raid in Gopalpur village in the border area and recovered 44 bottles of Indian Phensedyl.
A separate case has been filed at Maheshpur Police Station regarding this incident.
