(Joypurhat) District Representative:
A memorial service was held in Joypurhat's Khetlal to commemorate the death of veteran journalist and vice-president of Khetlal Press Club, Kazi Riazul Kabir Arup.
On Sunday (February 15) at 5 pm, a memorial meeting and prayer meeting were organized at the Khet Lal Press Club office, moderated by journalist Abdur Razzak, and chaired by the club's president and Dainik Dinkal correspondent A. N. M. Ruhul Amin Chishti.
At this time, Kazi Maruf Hasan Amit, the younger son of late journalist Kazi Riazul Kabir Arup, said, "My father was a senior journalist from Khetlal. He was well-known in the area in various ways, including as a poet, writer, lyricist and musician. After my father's death, no one in Khetlal remembered him. The Khetlal Press Club has taken such a great initiative after my father's death. I am eternally grateful to you for that."
