Russia claims that its scientists have made the greatest discovery of the century. They have invented a cancer vaccine. Putin's government has announced that they will start giving free cancer vaccines early next year.
Andrei Kaprin, Director General of the Radiological Medical Research Center under the Russian Ministry of Health, made this claim.
The agency's Kaprin told Radio Rossiya that a cancer vaccine has been developed. It will be distributed free of charge and will begin in early 2025.
Alexander Ginsberg, head of the Gamaleya National Research Center, said that pre-clinical trials of the cancer vaccine have shown that it prevents tumor growth and metastases, the spread of cancer.
Putin said in early 2019 that Russian scientists were very close to developing a cancer vaccine. Now, an even bigger claim has emerged.
Meanwhile, Ginsberg says that AI research has reached a point where it can create such a vaccine in an hour.
