After the rally, a discussion meeting was held, where District Superintendent of Police Sheikh Zahidul Islam spoke as the chief guest. Also speaking were Deputy Director of Youth Development Thakurgaon Mansur Ali, District Election Officer Manjurul Islam and other important figures.
The event was presided over by Zakir Mostafiz Milu, President of the Citizens Platform.
As part of the festival, 8 stalls were displayed, where awareness-raising information was provided through various materials on strengthening the government system, protecting democracy, election monitoring, voter awareness, women's empowerment, establishing good governance, and the importance of youth leadership.
At this time, the speakers said, the role of youth in establishing democracy is immense. We must ensure equal rights for all by eliminating gender discrimination. We can establish democracy through various awareness campaigns including establishing good governance, ensuring the voting rights of citizens. For this, we must be aware of our own rights and take effective steps to establish them.
