In a raid by the Sadarpur Upazila administration of Faridpur, 6 drum trucks loaded with soil and a total of 8 people, including the driver and his accomplice, were arrested from various roads.
It is learned that Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Zakia Sultana conducted the operation late at night on February 12 (Wednesday). Police members of Sadarpur Police Station were with her at the time.
In this regard, Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Abdul Motaleb Hossain said, the upazila administration conducted a drive and arrested them. A case against them is under process.
