Durgapur (Netrakona) Representative
Educational materials were distributed among orphaned children and a discussion meeting was held at Durgapur, Netrakona, on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Shaheed Santosh Smriti Foundation.
The event was held on Friday morning at the humanitarian orphanage in Chandigarh Union of the upazila.
Freedom fighter Rustam Ali was present as the chief guest at this event. The main discussant at the event was Durgapur Upazila BNP Senior Joint Convener M Rafiqul Islam. The event was presided over by the organization's president Palash Saha. The event was hosted by Mamun Ranbir.
Poets Lokanta Shaon, poets Bidyut Sarkar, Saymon Khan, poet Shaon Hasan, convener of the People's Volunteer Party Mosharraf Hossain Shaon, journalist Nur Alam, and president of the Upazila Students' Union Zahir Raihan spoke at the event.
The panelists said that the Shaheed Santosh Smriti Foundation is doing various social and humanitarian work. This foundation has provided educational materials to more than a hundred orphan children today. This is a very wonderful initiative.
Young children have expressed joy after receiving educational materials from Shaheed Santosh Smriti Foundation. The leaders of the organization hope that such initiatives of this social organization for children will continue.
