Dumki Thana police have arrested three people in a drive under Operation Devil Hunt in Dumki, Patuakhali. On Sunday (February 9) night, law enforcement officers arrested three people in a drive in different areas of the upazila.
The arrested are Mohammad Ali Khan (54), son of deceased A.S. Mannan Khan of Dumki village in Ward No. 3 of Srirampur Union of the upazila, Md. Mashiur Rahman Babu, vice-president of Pabiprobi Chhatra League, son of Mujibar Mridha, and Abu Zafar Mridha, son of Mofez Jomaddar of Angaria Union.
Dumki Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Zakir Hossain said that three people have been arrested and handed over to the court in connection with the BNP office vandalism case filed at Dumki Police Station.
