Joypurhat District Representative,
Nabiul Islam (42), son of Afaz Uddin of Kujail village, was killed on the spot in a collision between a truck and a motorcycle at approximately 6:25 pm on his way from Bogra to Molamgari in Molamgarihat area of Kalai upazila of Joypurhat.
According to local sources, the deceased Nabiul Islam was on his way home from his workplace in Bogra in the evening when he reached Molamgari Hat when his motorcycle was hit from behind by a truck. He was thrown off the spot and then crushed under a truck going from Joypurhat to Bogra, hitting his head and dying on the spot.
The incident has cast a shadow of grief over the family of the deceased. Immediately after the incident, police and locals rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
The incident cast a shadow of mourning over the Molamgarihat area. Kalai Police Station Officer-in-Charge Zahid Hossain said that an investigation is underway into the matter. If anyone files a complaint on behalf of the family, further investigation will be conducted and legal action will be taken against the guilty driver.
