Sadarpur Upazila (Faridpur) Representative:
Police have recovered the body of an unidentified young man floating in a pond in Sadarpur, Faridpur.
The body was recovered from Thengamari village in Krishnapur Union of the upazila at around 11:30 am on Sunday (February 23).
According to police and local sources, the body was floating in a pond near the house of Samad Molya, a former member of Thengamari ward adjacent to Krishnapur Bazar. Later, when the Sadarpur police were informed, they came and recovered the body.
However, it is still not known who dumped the body.
Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Abdul Motaleb Hossain confirmed the incident and said, "We went to the spot after receiving the information and recovered the body. We have not yet been able to identify the deceased. Legal action is under process in this regard."
