Two brothers, Hafez Siam Uddin (21) and Hafez Sayem Uddin (17), have started their journey from Madaripur to 64 districts with the slogan of eradicating drugs from the society and holding the national flag in their hands. They have already completed their journey to 29 districts. The two Hafez brothers reached Gaibandha from Joypurhat on Sunday morning. After that, they are supposed to start walking towards Dinajpur district. The two brothers have suffered injuries in various parts of their legs and have become physically weak due to the walking journey.
Siam and Sayem are the sons of Mahmudul Alam Gias of Dakshin Banshgari Auliachar area of Kalkini upazila of Madaripur district. Inspired by this message from the Holy Quran, "If you travel in my world, your knowledge of my creation will increase," they set out on a country tour on January 26 to keep the youth away from drug addiction.
Hafez Siam Uddin said, "We two brothers will travel through 64 districts of the country on foot. We came to Gaibandha from Joypurhat on Sunday morning for the 29th district tour. From here, we will go to Dinajpur via Palashbari." He also said, "We walk all day. However, we rest occasionally and have a light meal. So far, there have been no problems on the way. We spend the night in a mosque in the area we go to. At that time, the mosque committee arranges for us to eat. Even though we are a little weak physically, we will not give up. We seek everyone's prayers to complete the 64 district tour safely," said Hafez Siam and Hafez Sayem.
