A preparatory meeting was held in Rajasthali Upazila of Rangamati district to celebrate International Mother Language Day with due dignity. The meeting was organized by the Upazila administration on Monday, March 17, at noon.
On this occasion, the Upazila Executive Officer's office was chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Sajeeb Kanti Rudra. Among others present were Rajasthali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury, journalist Azgar Ali Khan, Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Abul Hashem Member, Dr. Nizam Uddin, Primary Education Officer Tajurul Islam, journalists from print and electronic media, officers from all departments, representatives of educational institutions and social workers from all walks of life.
He said that to spread the spirit of the great Ekushey at all levels, their respective government and autonomous organizations have been called upon to hold day-centered discussion meetings, including upazila painting competitions, dawn processions, and wreath laying.
