A "Youth March for Peace" was held in Nalitabari, Sherpur, under the joint initiative of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens Committee. The procession was held in Nalitabari town on Thursday (February 13) afternoon.
The procession started from the Upazila Parishad premises, circled the main roads of the city, and ended at the Shaheed Minar intersection.
Later, at a short rally at Shaheed Minar intersection, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Sherpur district branch Mamunur Rahman, member secretary Chayem, spokesperson Tuhin, main organizer Jitu, members of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Nalitabari Upazila branch Mehedi, Rabiul, Kayes, Tuhin, Kausar Mobbasi, and members of the National Citizens Committee Nalitabari branch delegation Alamgir Kabir Mithun, Jobair Ahmed, and Mojahidul Islam Ujjwal spoke.
During this time, speakers demanded the punishment of the head of the fascist Awami government, Sheikh Hasina, and her culprits, and the abolition of the Mujib-era constitution.
