Two youths killed in head-on motorcycle collision in Narail, Achiya dies on way home from school. Two youths, Sentu Howlader (25) and Sabbir (19), were killed in a head-on motorcycle collision in Narail Sadar Upazila. Ujjwal Roy, district representative from Narail, said the accident took place in the Bhabanipur Fulashwar area of the Narail-Kalia road on Wednesday (February 12) afternoon.
The deceased, Sentu Hawlader, is a resident of Tulrampur village in Sadar upazila, and Sabbir is a resident of Chalitatla village in the same upazila.
Locals said that a person named Sentu Howlader died on the spot after two motorcycles collided head-on in the Fulashwar area of Narail-Kalia road in Sadar upazila on Wednesday afternoon. The injured Sabbir, who was on the other motorcycle, was taken to Narail Sadar Hospital, where the doctor advised him to be taken to Dhaka for better treatment. He later died on the way to Dhaka. Two other people on the motorcycle were injured in the incident.
Dr. Sharif Hasan Ferdous, a doctor at the emergency department of Narail Sadar Hospital, said that one person died in the hospital in the afternoon and the other died on the way to Dhaka.
In this regard, Narail Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Sajedul Islam said, "Two people died in the road accident. Legal action is being taken in this incident." On the other hand,
Aasia Khanam (6) died while crossing the road while returning home from school in Narail Sadar Upazila.
The accident occurred in the Circledanga area of Banshgram Union in Sadar Upazila on Wednesday (February 12) afternoon.
The deceased child, Acia Khanam, was the daughter of Md. Faruk Molya of Circledanga village. She was a first-grade student of a local primary school.
According to local sources, the child named Acia Khanam was crossing the road while returning home from school in the Circledanga area of Banshgram Union in Sadar Upazila at around 12:30 pm on Wednesday. Later, a motorcycle hit her. Acia was seriously injured in the incident. The motorcycle driver rescued her and took her to Narail Sadar Hospital in her injured condition. Later, the doctor in the emergency department of Sadar Hospital declared the child named Acia dead.
Narail Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Sajedul Islam confirmed the death in the road accident and said that the child's body has been handed over to his family after the legal process. Ujjwal Roy, District Correspondent from Narail.
