A body of a man was recovered from the Nayahalot area of Sadar Union in Jamalganj Upazila of Sunamganj.
Two people fled after leaving the hospital morgue. The deceased has been identified as Md. Russell Mia (32).
He is the son of the deceased Shahid Mia of Nayahalot village in Sadar union of the upazila. Police have launched a manhunt for the incident.
Although the two men were brought to the police station for questioning, the police later arrested some local people.
He was given custody.
