A prayer mahfil was held in Sirajganj to pray for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and those injured in the anti-discrimination student movement and for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs.
This prayer meeting was held at the Raiganj Upazila Parishad Auditorium in Sirajganj at around 1 pm on Saturday. During this, financial donations were handed over to the families of the three martyrs of the movement.
The event was presided over by former Raiganj Upazila BNP president Shamsul Islam, and was addressed by Sirajganj District BNP Vice President Nazmul Hasan Talukder Rana, District BNP Joint General Secretary VP Shamim Khan, District BNP Information and Research Secretary and former Raiganj Upazila BNP General Secretary VP Ainul Haque, District BNP Office Secretary Tanvir Mahmud Palash, Chhatra Dal Central Committee Joint General Secretary A. H. Md. Khokon, among others.
Sirajganj District BNP Advisor Engineer Kamal Hossain organized this prayer meeting and discussion meeting.
