A C&F trader named Rajiul Alam (30) was killed on the spot in a motorcycle accident on the Jessore-Magura road in Panchbaria village of Jessore Sadar upazila. The accident occurred around 9:30 pm on Saturday.
The deceased, Rajiul Mollapara of Barandipara in Jessore town, was the son of the late Badal Biswas. He was a C&F (Customs Clearing and Forwarding) businessman at Dhaka Airport.
Eyewitnesses said that Rajiul was heading towards Magura from Jessore. At that time, his motorcycle collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. Rajiul died on the spot. The motorcycle he was using was severely damaged in the accident.
