Pirgachha (Rangpur) Representative-
The 7th National Voters' Day was celebrated in Pirgachha, Rangpur, under the theme 'Yours is my Bangladesh, let's vote together'. On this occasion, a rally was held at the Upazila Parishad premises on Sunday morning, followed by a discussion meeting at the Upazila Parishad hall.
The meeting was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Nazmul Haque Sumon, and was attended by Upazila Election Officer Faruk Ahmed, Agriculture Officer Krishibid Rafiqul Islam, Social Service Officer Enamul Haque, Primary Education Officer Abul Hossain, Assistant Family Planning Officer Manjurul Islam and others.
According to the Upazila Election Office, the total number of voters in Pirgachha Upazila is 2,87,110. Of these, 1,42,634 are male voters. 1,44,473 are female voters. There are three transgender voters.
