Special check posts have been set up under the Highway Police in Gobindaganj Bazar, Shathibari Bazar, Pirganj Bazar, Saidpur and Das Mile areas, which are important areas under special surveillance. Security has been tightened in these areas after midnight.
In particular, buses leaving Dhaka in the evening reach Gobindaganj between 12:30 am and 1 am. As the risk of robbery is high during this time, the Highway Police is conducting special surveillance on these buses.
Special measures for the safety of passengers and drivers The Highway Police is conducting awareness activities for the safety of bus drivers and passengers. Police members board buses at night to make passengers aware and warn them in advance about potential dangers.
To ensure the safety of passengers, video recordings of bus passengers are being made. At the same time, special surveillance is being carried out on cattle trucks and other goods-carrying vehicles so that there is no opportunity for robbery or snatching.
