Students of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement held a procession, displaying red cards, in protest of the overall deterioration of law and order, including rape, murder, theft, robbery, and extortion, in Bauphal, Patuakhali.
The procession was taken out on various roads in Bauphal municipality on Monday (February 24) at around 11 am. The procession started from Bauphal Government College ground, went around the Upazila Parishad and ended in front of Bauphal Police Station Complex through various roads. During the procession, the students chanted slogans like Red Card Red Card against rapists, Red Card Red Card against the administration, and Red Card Red Card against the Home Affairs Advisor. The students were also joined by the general public.
Representatives of Baufal Upazila Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Md. Muntasir Tasrip Lamim, Ayeshatunnesa Barsha, Md. Ruhul Amin and Farhan Rupai and many others were present. The general public is welcoming this type of student procession and is hoping that the rapidly deteriorating law and order situation will improve. ####
