The leaders and activists of the organization held a joyous procession and distributed sweets in Taltoli to thank the central leaders for announcing the new convening committee of the Barguna District Volunteer Group.
On Thursday (February 13) evening, the joyous procession set out from in front of the Jubo Dal office and circled various streets of the city before ending at the same place where a discussion meeting was held.
Earlier on Thursday (February 6) night, Central Volunteer Party President SM Jilani and General Secretary Rajib Ahsan announced the convening committee of Barguna District Volunteer Party. In this, a three-member partial convening committee was announced with Md. Rajibul Islam Sohel as the convener, Md. Faizul Malek Sajib as the member secretary and Md. Jewel Piada as the senior joint convener.
Barguna District Chhatra Dal member and former General Secretary of Taltoli Government College Chhatra Dal Hafizur Rahman led the joyous procession and discussion meeting, while Upazila Jubo Dal joint convener Atiqur Rahman Asim, Upazila Chhatra Dal joint convener Rubel Mia, Upazila Volunteer Dal convening committee member Alamgir Mia and others spoke at the event.
