'Sujon' forms human chain in Noakhali demanding democratic society

Citizens for Good Governance (SUJON) is forming a human chain in Noakhali as part of a nationwide program demanding rapid improvement in the deteriorating law and order situation and building a democratic society through reforms.
Representatives of various professions, including civil society representatives, journalists, social workers, and others, were present at the human chain held on the road in front of the Noakhali Press Club at 11:15 am on Saturday (March 1).
Sujan, Noakhali District Committee President Advocate Molla Habibur Rasul Mamun, General Secretary Secretary Abu Naser Manju, Begumganj Upazila Committee President Golam Mohiuddin Nosu, journalist Mahbubur Rahman, women leader Nasima Munni, retired teacher Shahida Parveen and others spoke at the rally.
The speakers at the human chain demanded effective steps to quickly improve the deteriorating law and order situation in Noakhali and across the country, including theft, robbery, kidnapping, and rape. At the same time, they demanded the building of a healthy society through reforms and elections.
