Ahead of the upcoming national elections, a discussion meeting was held in Ward No. 1 of Kathir UP in support of Adv. Nurul Islam Nurul, a potential candidate for the Sunamganj-4 (Sadar and Bishwambharpur) constituency. The campaign and discussion meetings are continuing for Advocate Nurul Islam Nurul, a well-known former successful convener of the district Chhatra Dal, former co-organizing secretary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Central Parliament, former general secretary of Sunamganj district BNP and one of the current members of the convening committee.
Leaders and activists of the local BNP, Yuvdal, Chhatra Dal, and allied organizations, who have a total of 135 wards in 14 unions and 1 municipality in these two upazilas of this constituency, are already campaigning for Nurul Islam Nurul among voters in their respective areas.
On Thursday evening, a meeting was held at the initiative of leaders and activists of BNP, Yubdal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal in Ward No. 1 of Kathir Union in Sunamganj Sadar Upazila. Anwar Ali, Lutfur Rahman, Ashkar Ali, Kamal Mia, Nabi Hossain, Abdus Salam, Ali Nur, Shamsul Haque and Abdur Nur, among others, spoke at the meeting under the chairmanship of Rustam Ali of Ward No. 1 of Kathir UP and moderated by Kamrul Islam.
The leaders said that Advocate Nurul Islam Nurul, former general secretary of Sunamganj district BNP and one of the current members of the convening committee, is a grassroots leader with a clean image. He did not move away from the streets to follow the central order to protest the government's misdeeds, including jail atrocities and Hulia, during the tenure of the previous fascist Awami League government. Under the leadership of Nurul, acting chairman of BNP, Tarique Rahman, he was active with thousands of leaders and activists in every movement and struggle. But some of the fascists who had infiltrated the party, jealous of Advocate Nurul Islam's popularity, are trying to humiliate him in the society. But everyone needs to remember that the people make hundreds of conspiracies against the one they are with.
It cannot be kept in reserve.
The speakers also said that if the fate of the people of all walks of life in this neglected Sunamganj-4 constituency (Sadar and Bishwambharpur) is to be changed, there is no alternative to Adv. Nurul Islam Nurul. Along with the leaders of the general party and allied organizations of the Trinamool, they claim that Nurul Islam is by their side in any disaster of the common people.
Therefore, Advocate Nurul Islam should be nominated as a candidate for this seat in the next National Assembly election.
The public at all levels made demands to the BNP chairperson, acting chairman, and central leaders.
