A digger has been seized in a raid by the Sadarpur Upazila administration of Faridpur on charges of illegally extracting sand and soil from the banks of the Padma River in Shaitanakhali, Dheukhali Union.
Sadarpur Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Zakia Sultana seized the vehicle on the afternoon of February 13 (Thursday).
Later, the animal was taken into custody by Sadarpur Police Station.
