On February 21, 1952, the martyrs took Bengal to a unique height in world history with their fresh blood. People from all walks of life paid tribute to those language martyrs in Rangamati Kaptai on the first hour of the 21st.
At 12:01 am, wreaths were laid on behalf of the upazila administration, led by Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Parishad Administrator Ruhul Amin, along with the heads of various government departments.
After paying tribute with flowers, Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Parishad Administrator Ruhul Amin and heads of government departments stood in silence for a while and paid deep respect to the memory of the martyrs of the language movement.
At this time, Rangamati District BNP Vice President Dr. Rahmat Ullah, Joint Secretary Dildar Hossain, Kaptai Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Zafar Ahmed Swapan, and leaders of BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations were present and laid wreaths.
At that time, the timeless song of Amar Ekushey, 'Amar Bhaiyer Rokte Rangano Ekushey February...' was playing in the background.
On behalf of the Kaptai Upazila branch of BNP, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Central Shaheed Minar under the leadership of Upazila BNP President Lokman Ahmed and General Secretary Yasin Mamun.
In addition, wreaths were laid on behalf of Kaptai and Chandraghona police stations under the leadership of Kaptai Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Zahidul Islam.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of the day, a discussion meeting was held at the Kaptai Upazila Parishad auditorium at 10 am at the initiative of the Kaptai Upazila administration. Kaptai Upazila Executive Officer Ruhul Amin presided over the meeting.
