A workers' meeting was held on Monday (February 24) to form a convening committee for ward number 7 of Moulvibazar Municipal BNP. The meeting was presided over by Municipal BNP joint convener and District BNP convening committee member Monowar Ahmed Rahman. Anisuzzaman Bayes moderated the meeting.
The chief guest at the event was District BNP Convening Committee member Matin Baks. Mahbub Izdani Imran, Abul Kalam Belal and Swagat Kishore Das Chowdhury spoke as special guests. In addition, senior leaders and workers of the party were present at the meeting.
The speakers said, "To form a strong organization of the party, we need dedicated and idealistic leaders. They called for building the future Bangladesh through the united movement of BNP. An 11-member convening committee was announced at the meeting, which will form a full-fledged committee through a democratic process."
