The public meeting was held at Bholagari Primary School ground in Kashab Union of the upazila at 10:00 AM. It was presided over by Ward No. 5 BNP Senior Vice President Abul Kashem.
Manda Upazila BNP General Secretary and former Upazila Chairman Dr. Ikramul Bari Tipu spoke as the chief guest at the public meeting. Manda Upazila BNP Joint Convener Mozammel Haque Mukul, former UP Chairman Azimuddin Sardar, Saidur Rahman Mollah, Jalal Uddin Sahana, Jubo Dal leader Al Mamun, Swechchhasebak Dal member secretary Emdadul Haque, Joint Convener Nurul Islam, College Teachers Association President Mohsin Ali, Sramik Dal General Secretary Jahangir Alam Bidyut, local BNP leaders Shajahan Ali Majhi, Sahar Ali, Nurul Islam, Matiur Rahman, Harun Or Rashid and Anisar Rahman were present as special guests. In his speech as the chief guest, Dr. Ikramul Bari Tipu said, "I have had a desire to serve the public since childhood. I have served you as a doctor, and later as the Upazila Parishad Chairman, I have conducted various developmental activities. I want to continue working by your side in the future as well." If I receive nomination from the party, I will work tirelessly for the development of Manda, InshaAllah.
They said that they will stand by Dr. Ikramul Bari Tipu in the future as in the past. The speakers at the public meeting highlighted the importance of BNP's 31-point reform proposal and called on the people to unite in its favor. At the meeting, the leaders criticized various policies of the government and emphasized the need for a united movement to restore democracy. At the end of the meeting, the party leaders and activists were invigorated.
It can be observed and the determination to accelerate political activities in the future is expressed.
