Two thousand patients suffering from various diseases received free medical services in Nazirpur, Pirojpur. The medical services were provided on Saturday morning at the Boribunia Secondary School grounds in the upazila.
Organized by the Boraibunia Sports and Cultural Academy (BSCA), the camp was attended by 13 specialist doctors from various hospitals in Dhaka. The camp provided treatment for heart disease, dental, gastro-liver, gynecological, pediatric, diabetes, kidney, skin, pain and orthopedic diseases. Patients were also given free pathological tests. The free medical service started at 11 am and continued till afternoon.
BSCA, formed by local youth, has been providing free medical services since last year. BSCA President Sheikh Sujat, General Secretary Sumon Munshi, Organizing Secretary Abid Hasan, Office Secretary Engineer Asker Hossain, Publicity Secretary Md. Ramzan Sheikh and Sports Secretary Md. Babul Hossain, along with other leaders of the organization, were present at the free medical service distribution ceremony, among others.
