Ripon Marma Rangamati
The Baitul Karim Mosque in Chandraghona Resham Bagan Muslim neighborhood of Kaptai, Rangamati has been inaugurated.
On Saturday (February 22), the Baitul Karim Mosque of Kaptai Chandraghona Resham Bagan Muslim Para was inaugurated by Hafez Maulana Shafiqur Rahman as the chief guest, presided over by the landowner Md. Abul Kashem, during the holy Zuhr prayers.
The mosque is built with two-layered tin, and is an attractive, brick-built mosque. The expenses for the construction of the mosque were borne by Md. Ershad Siddique, Engineer Md. Ismail and other religious devotees from different areas worked tirelessly behind the construction of the mosque on behalf of Pakija Foundation and Manobik Bazar.
Md. Abu Bakr Siddique, Md. Abdul Rahim, Abdul Aziz and local residents further assisted in the construction of Baitul Karim Mosque.
Baitul Karim Mosque Land Donor and Mosque Committee President Md. Abul Kashem, in his speech, drew the attention of the worshippers to the construction of the mosque and said, "You should pray and make the whole family stand for prayer. We should throw away our past weaknesses and from today on, we should strive to follow 100% true Islam as per the instructions of Allah and His Messenger Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
The inauguration was also attended by Mohammad Rajib Ahsan, Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain, Mohammad Ayub, etc. At the end, a prayer was offered wishing everyone well.
