Keeping in mind the slogan 'My Story in My Language', a two-day 'Workshop on Filmmaking and Exhibition' is going to be held in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar on February 22 and 23. The workshop will be held at the Manipuri Lalit Kala Academy in Shibbazar, Madhabpur Union of the upazila, from 10 am to 4 pm every day.
This workshop has been organized to encourage filmmaking in the mother tongues of different regions and ethnic groups on the occasion of the Great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day 2025. The workshop is jointly organized by the Children and Youth Development Forum 'Sampark' and the Manipuri Lalit Kala Academy. It is sponsored by the film production company 'K' and the promotional partners Danta-S and Cinetrip.
The two-day workshop will be taught by Bangla Academy Award-winning poet and filmmaker Shuvashis Sinha, journalist Chayan Chowdhury, independent filmmaker, researcher and film teacher Sajedul Islam, and independent filmmaker, producer and film teacher Uttam Kumar Singha.
