We want the rule of the Quran, we want the rule of honest and competent people - said Maulana Saifullah, the chief guest of the event at the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Noakhla Union No. 1 Ward Conference.
A ward conference was held at Yasin Bazar, Ward Noakhala Union No. 1, Chatkhil Upazila, Noakhali District, organized by Bangladesh Jamaat Islami. Noakhala Ward (North) President Abdun Noor presided over the conference, while Golam Kibria Patwary (South, President) presided over the conference. District Shura member and former Upazila Ameer Principal Maulana Saifullah spoke as the chief guest of the conference.
Upazila Ameer Maulana Mohiuddin Hasan, Noakhla Union President Mominul Islam, Upazila Nayeb Ameer Maulana Omar Faruk, Municipality Ameer Maulana Akhter Hossain, Chatkhil Upazila Ulama Department President Maulana Abdul Baset, and Noakhla Union Secretary Master Bellal Hossain, among others, spoke as special guests at the conference.
The speakers said in their speeches, "We seek your cooperation to bring Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami to power in the future. We want your cooperation, we want to see this country ruled by the Quran."
