In Faridpur's Alfadanga village of Bidyadhar, about 50 people led by Syed Habib attacked and vandalized the house and auto van of Hasan Gazi, focusing on factionalism and dominance. The incident took place on the evening of Wednesday, February 12.
At that time, when the attackers entered the house and tried to loot it, Hasan's wife Aleya Begum beat her up for stopping her. Aleya Begum is admitted to the Kashiani Health Complex. Aleya Begum said, more than a hundred people including Syed Habib suddenly attacked the house, vandalized it, and when I stopped them, they beat me up and took my necklace.
Syed Habib could not be reached for comment. When contacted, police station officer-in-charge Harun Or Rashid said, "We have sent police to the scene after receiving the information and legal action will be taken if any complaint is received."
