The three-day long mahfil in Charmonair ended with the final prayer, bringing tears to the eyes of millions of Muslims.
On Wednesday, 19/2/2025, after the Zuhr prayers, the three-day mahfil, the largest Islamic conference in the country, began with the opening speech of Mufti Syed Md. Rezaul Karim, spokesperson of Charmonai Pir Islami Andolan Bangladesh.
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, after the Fajr prayers, the closing sermon and Mahfil aimed at the Muslims who had come to the gathering, giving guidance on various aspects of this world and the hereafter. The Mahfil ended with the final prayer at 8:30 a.m.
In prayer, millions of religious believers, with tearful eyes, chanted "Amen" and "Amen" to the Almighty Allah for salvation in this world and the hereafter, filling the open riverbanks with their faces.
Every year, twice a year, in the months of Agrahayan and Falgun, this town on the banks of the Khola River, where Kirtan is sung, becomes bustling with the procession of Muslims from all over Bangladesh and different countries of the world during the Charmonair Mahfil.
