The 26th annual meeting of Adarsh Cooperative Credit Union Limited, a cooperative financial institution of Jhenaigati Upazila, was held with the theme "We are prosperous because we are united".
The meeting was organized on Monday (February 24) morning at the Adarsh Resort and Human Resource Development Center in Shalchura.
The program was inaugurated by hoisting the national and cooperative flags at the beginning of the program. Later, a discussion meeting was held.
The chief guest at the discussion meeting was Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ashraful Alam Russell. The chief negotiator was Adarsh Cooperative Credit Union's Chief Advisor and former Upazila Chairman Md. Aminul Islam Badsha. The discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Adarsh Cooperative Credit Union's Association Chairman Md. Saleh Ahmed and moderated by Secretary Md. Azad Mia. The special guests at the meeting were District Cooperative Officer Shahadat Hossain, Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Al Amin, Upazila Cooperative Officer Rukunuzzaman, Kalb District Manager Solaiman Hossain Tagor, Small Traders Association President Alhaj Mokhlesur Rahman Khan, District Cooperative Inspector Alimul Azim, etc.
At the said annual general meeting, the income and expenditure report for the financial year 2023-2024 and the probable income and expenditure budget for the financial year 2025-2026 were presented and approved. After the discussion, prizes were awarded to 110 members through a lottery among the members present.
