Saghata (Gaibandha) Representative: A safety workshop on reviewing and updating the master plan and basic infrastructure development projects of upazila cities (non-municipal) was held in Saghata, Gaibandha, under the initiative of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED).
The workshop, organized at the Saghata Upazila Parishad conference room on Monday (February 26), was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Ishaq Ali. Local Government Engineering Department Consultant Mohammad Abul Bashar, Team Leader Professor Golam Mortuza, Upazila Engineer Nayan Roy, Urban Planner Rubaiyat Shahriar Rupam, LGED CMO Kabir Uddin and Raufur Rahim, along with concerned officials, were present in the workshop.
Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ishaq Ali said, "Safety and sustainable planning are very important at every stage of development. With the coordinated efforts of all concerned, the infrastructural development of Saghata will move forward further."
During this time, participants discussed local needs, problems, and possibilities and exchanged views on various aspects of plan implementation.
Local public representatives, engineers, officials from relevant departments, and interested parties were present at the workshop.
