A committee of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal has been formed at Nazirpur Government Women's Degree College in Pirojpur district. For the first time in the history of this college, Tanzia Tabassum has been elected as the president of the Chhatra Dal committee and Tinni Islam has been elected as the general secretary.
On Sunday (February 16), they were elected president and general secretary based on the opinions of the general student body of the college.
The committee has appointed Munira Islam as senior vice president, Nurjahan Akhter as vice president, Tasnia Rahman Sneha, Keya Akhter, Taslima Khanam, Jerin Islam as vice president. Suravi Akhter as senior joint general secretary, Sumaiya Akhter Neha, Faria Akhter, Hafsa Akhter as joint general secretaries. Munina Akhter Shanta as organizing secretary, Munira Akhter as publicity secretary, Tabasum Meem as student affairs secretary, and Sahana Akhter as member.
Pirojpur District Chhatra Dal President Hasan Al Mamun and Acting General Secretary Tanjir Rashid Bappi approved the committee. The committee was instructed to form a full-fledged committee within the next 21 days.
The newly elected committee meeting was held at the Nazirpur Government College meeting room at around 12 noon on Monday (February 17). Present at the meeting were Upazila BNP joint convener Towhid Islam, Upazila Chhatra Dal convener HM Shamim Hasan, member secretary Tarek Abdullah Bappi, joint convener Ohiduzzaman Chanchal, Nazirpur Shaheed Zia College Chhatra Dal joint convener Imam Khan, Rifat Khan Daud.
