As the convening committee of the District Volunteer Party was announced in Pirojpur, a joy rally and sweets were distributed to congratulate BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and Central Volunteer Party President S.M. Jilani and General Secretary Rajib Ahsan.
On Sunday (February 9), at 12 noon, a joyous rally organized by the District Volunteer Party started from the Pirojpur Municipality premises and circled various places in the city before ending at the District BNP office. After the joyous rally, a discussion meeting was held at the party office.
The newly formed District Volunteer Party Convener Md. Moniruzzaman Moni, Member Secretary Md. Tahidul Islam, Senior Joint Convener Md. Nadim Sheikh spoke at the event. After the discussion meeting, sweets were distributed among the former leaders and workers of Pirojpur District and Upazila Volunteer Party.
District Volunteer Party convener Md. Moniruzzaman Moni said, "Those who have been victims of cases for the past 17 years, those who could not sleep properly at home at night, and those who have dedicated their lives to the party, such workers will be evaluated. Those who are friends of Awami League and Jamaat have no place in this volunteer party. Sacrificed workers will be evaluated in the Pirojpur Volunteer Party."
