While distributing leaflets on the implementation of 31 points to repair the national structure, Akter Hamid Paban, the youngest son of the late Secretary General Khondaker Delwar Hossain, said, "BNP is the party of the people, so working for the welfare of the people is the only objective of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman." He called on the people to vote for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP in the next election and give the youth symbol BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman an opportunity to build the country.
He made this statement while distributing leaflets on Tuesday afternoon, February 11, at a function organized by BNP and its affiliates at Sreebari and Ulail Unions of Bartia Unions of Shivaloy and Ghior Upazilas, praying for the good health of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and her eldest son, the symbol of youth, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and implementing 31 measures to repair the state structure.
On July 13, 2023, a leaflet distribution and peace rally were organized to implement the 31 points to repair the state structure presented to the nation by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
Speaking as the chief guest at the distribution of leaflets on the implementation of the 31-point plan to repair the state structure, Akter Hamid Pawan, the youngest son of late BNP Secretary General Khondaker Delwar Hossain, said, "Our party's acting chairman, the future leader Tarique Rahman, has already issued a stern warning and said that BNP is a party of good people. There is no place for terrorists and extortionists in this party. To build BNP, you have to maintain a connection with the people. Those who are not well-liked by the people will not have a place in BNP."
Therefore, BNP has no relationship with those who are involved in terrorism, extortion, and those who destroy people's peace.
Be careful, those who do or are trying to do evil deeds, come back from that side and work for the people. Love the people. Only if you can earn the love of the people will you become a BNP leader. Otherwise, you are not one of this party. One more thing to note is that many extortionists and terrorists have become active again. They are doing evil deeds in the name of BNP in different places. Later it turns out that they are not from BNP, the defeated forces want to create a counter-revolution by creating chaos and anarchy in the country. A group is conspiring to ruin the reputation of BNP. We have to be vigilant about this.
Akhtar Hamid Pawan further said that the dictator Sheikh Hasina has shed the blood of the students and the public by indiscriminately firing police to stay in power. Even then, the dictator was not saved. He fled on the historic 5th of August. Along with him, his friends are hiding and hatching various conspiracies against the country. Therefore, the leaders and workers of all the affiliated organizations including BNP must be vigilant. And he called on the youth symbol of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to vote for the rice ear in the next election and give the opportunity to rebuild the country and serve the common people. At the same time, he wished for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the good health and long life of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, the symbol of youth.
