Leaders and workers of the Upazila Nationalist Youth Dal of Dinajpur Ghoraghat held a joyous procession welcoming the new committee in the Jubo Dal district. The procession was taken out from in front of the Singra Union Parishad of the upazila at 5 pm on Monday (February 10).
Earlier, on February 5, an 8-member partial district committee was announced with Masudul Islam Masud as the convener and Rezaul Islam Reza as the member secretary.
Led by Upazila Jubo Dal convener Zahurul Islam Shanto and member secretary Mofazzal Hossain Pradhan, the procession was also attended by senior leaders of the Upazila BNP, Upazila Jubo Dal joint conveners Abu Hasmi, Mosharraf Hossain Khokon, Golam Rabbani, Masud Chowdhury, Sechchhasebak Dal convener Mofidul Islam, member secretary Al-Razi Rajib, Upazila Tanti Dal convener Shyamsadul Haque Ripon, Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Jobayer Hossain Saddam, and thousands of union and ward leaders and activists.
The procession then circled the main road of Raniganj Bazar area and ended at Singra Union Parishad premises. Later, the procession ended with a short rally there.
