BNP leader and economist Shahiduzzaman Kakon has commented that if the 31-point agenda announced by our party's acting chairman Tarique Rahman for state structure reform is implemented, Bangladesh will emerge as a happy, prosperous and strong Bangladesh.
Shahiduzzaman Kakon, a Swedish-based economist and joint general secretary of the district BNP and former international affairs secretary of the central committee of the Volunteer Party, made these remarks as the chief guest at the 31-point campaign event announced by BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman at the Katiadi Upazila Sadar bus stand on Saturday (February 8) afternoon.
At this time, he also said, "Let us unite from today's rally. We will work to implement the 31-point declaration made by our party's acting chairman Tarique Rahman. But this path is so easy. To follow this path, we have to walk a longer path. So let us remain united."
The program was presided over by Katiadi Upazila BNP General Secretary Matiur Rahman Master and moderated by District BNP Secretary Board Member Shihab Uddin Ahmed Farhad. District BNP leader Enamul Kabir Julhas and leaders and activists of Katiadi Upazila and Katiadi Municipality BNP at various levels were present. Earlier, processions with banners and festoons started arriving at the rally venue from different areas of Katiadi and Pakundia Upazilas since noon.
It is learnt that Shahiduzzaman Kakon, joint general secretary of the district BNP and former international affairs secretary of the central committee of the Volunteer Party, returned home on Monday (February 3) after staying in Sweden for a long time.
