Shahalal Islam: Crossing the boundary of life and death, my friend, you are still standing. With this theme in mind, a prayer and mahfil was held at the initiative of Bhatopara Sahityadhara to pray for the forgiveness of the souls of Abdul Aziz and Moinuddin Tiya, two of Sahityadhara's recently deceased members.
The event was organized on Friday (February 14) at Bhatopara Fultala Football Field, Matikata Union No. 06, Godagari Upazila.
Present at the event were Sahityadhara President Zulfiqar Haider, Saifuddin Ahmed Babu, Assistant Headmaster at Pirijpur High School and former President of Sahityadhara, Raju Ahmed, Engineer at the Local Government Engineering Department, Tayybur Rahman, Executive Secretary of Sahityadhara, Rakib Rajib, Rajshahi District Jubo Dal member and former Executive Secretary of Sahityadhara, Md. Jalal Hossain, Rajshahi District Branch Member of Nirapad Sarak Chai, Fakrul Islam Titas, Former Executive Secretary of Sahityadhara, Zahurul Islam (Zia), Assistant Teacher at Pirijpur High School and former Finance Secretary of Sahityadhara, Obaidul Haque, among others.
At the end of the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the souls of the two recently deceased.
