Suhrawardy College Representative:
The convening committee of the government-run Shahid Suhrawardy College for the anti-discrimination student movement has been formed. On Sunday night, the central committee convener of the organization, Hasnat Abdullah, and member secretary Arif Sohel approved the committee and posted it on their verified page. The committee was approved for the next 6 months.

Md. Likhon Islam, a student of the Islamic Studies Department, has been appointed as the convener. Shams Uddin, a student of the Political Science Department, has been appointed as the member secretary.
The 96-member committee has appointed Ashfaqur Rahman, a student of the Mathematics Department, as the senior joint convener. Mainuddin, a student of the English Department, as the senior joint member secretary. Al-Amin, a student of the Botany Department, as the main organizer. Shahjalal Miyaji Jihad, a student of the same department, as the spokesperson.
Regarding this, the convener of the newly formed committee, Md. Najib Islam, said, "The anti-discrimination student movement started from Shahid Mehedi to Shahid Abdullah, a student of Government Shahid Suhrawardy College. Taking charge as the convener of the revolutionary campus is undoubtedly a proud and challenging experience. The main goal of this movement will be to eliminate any discrimination inside and outside the educational institution, establish justice, and create an inclusive learning environment."
In this regard, Shams Uddin, member secretary of the newly formed committee, said, "I feel inspired and committed to taking over the responsibility of the convenor of the Shaheed Mehedi to Shaheed Abdullah Campus Convener Committee. This is not just a position, but an opportunity to bring about change. Although it is a difficult task, I believe that with team efforts and the cooperation of conscious students, we will be able to build a campus without discrimination."
