A Jamaat-e-Islami workers' conference was held today at the initiative of Sirajdikhan and Srinagar upazilas of Munshiganj district.
The workers' conference was held at 3 pm today, Friday (February 28), adjacent to Nimtola Sikder Shopping Complex in Sirajdikhan Upazila, under the chairmanship of Sirajdikhan Upazila Jamaat's Human Resources Development Affairs Secretary Md. Mahfuzur Rahman and Munshiganj District President of Bangladesh Workers' Welfare Federation Khizir Abdus Salam.
The program ended at 4:30 pm with speeches from various guests and speakers who arrived later.
Mr. Maulana A.J.M. Ruhul Quddus, a member of the Central Majlish-e-Shura of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and the Ameer of Munshiganj District Jamaat-e-Islami, was present as the chief guest at the event.
The Nayeb-e-Ameer of Munshiganj District Jamaat-e-Islami, prominent Islamic thinker, Mr. Maulana Nurul Haque Patwary was present as a special guest.
Speaking as a special guest,
Former Sirajdikhan Police Station Ameer and District Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary, public leader Mr. Abdul Awal Jihadi.
The special speaker was Mr. Professor Maulana A.K.M. Fakhruddin Raji, a leader of the land and people of Sirajdikhan and Srinagar, an MP candidate for the Munshiganj-1 parliamentary constituency, a prominent educationist and social worker.
The special speaker said that if he becomes MP in the next election, a public university will be established in this area.
These two upazilas will be developed as economic zones.
At this time, other speakers said that Jamaat-e-Islami is not afraid of anyone's eye-popping. The mass tide that has come to people's minds to see Jamaat in power must be proven by transforming it into reality.
At that time, quoting the emotions of the people, a speaker said, "All parties are finished, Jamaat-e-Islam's Bangladesh."
He urged every Jamaat worker to work in the field as a social worker.
He urged every worker to do election work spontaneously.
Mr. Md. Mojibur Rahman, Munshiganj District Secretary of Bangladesh Workers Welfare Federation, a prominent businessman and social worker, was present as the special speaker.
Sirajdikhan Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer, Mr. Maulana Md. Kabir Hossain, spoke at the event.
Also speaking was Srinagar Upazila Ameer Mr. T.M. Belal Hossain.
Thousands of leaders and activists from different areas of Sirajdikhan and Srinagar upazilas who came to the conference made the event a success through their spontaneous participation.
