Last 2024 After the government fell in the anti-discrimination movement on August 4, 2014, the leaders and activists of the fascist Sheikh Hasina's Dhosar Awami League went into hiding. Many were arrested again. BNP lawyers have been fighting in court to get the arrested leaders and activists bailed 'on the ground'. This time, they are openly appearing in court on behalf of the imprisoned Awami League leaders and activists. They have literally taken over the responsibility of granting mass bail to Awami League leaders and activists for commercial interests, the leaders and activists allege. Last Wednesday, the Metropolitan Magistrate's Third Court issued a notice to the Moghlabazar GR-27/24 BNP lawyers Advocate Fahmi and Advocate Abdur Razzak Raj granted bail to three accused in the case. The bailees are Awami League leaders Delwar, Zafrul and Kamrul. The plaintiff in the case is Nazim Uddin, the president of Ward No. 27 of the Metropolitan BNP.
